This title is probably going to make you say : "What is an affiliate?". Well that is exactly what I am going to tell you here. I will tell you all about affiliates and how they work and maybe some more about internet marketing.

What is an affiliate?

What this question is quiet a good one and you should now this answer before you go any further in this line of business. An affiliate is the person that advertises a product that they don't own and in this case the producer will be called a merchant. The affiliate and the merchant have a direct relationship because they work for achieving the same goals and this relationship should be a very good one.The term affiliate comes form the fact that you are affiliated with a company therefore you work for that company.

Now that you know what an affiliate is you probably see the difference between an internet marketer and an affiliate. This difference is made by the fact that an affiliate is always going to sell the product of someone else while an internet marketer can be both or an affiliate or an merchant . Therefore in some cases merchants choose internet marketing for promoting their own products and are joined by some affiliates. But this doesn't mean that an affiliate can not become a merchant or that a merchant can not become an affiliate. Because think about this if a merchant decides to promote a product that does not belong to him he will become an affiliate to that certain company or merchant.

You should always see the big picture here you are trying to become an internet marketer which means that you will be trained to promote all the products on that market.You won't have to choose between products the only thing you will have to take in consideration is if the product you will promote is going to sell or not. But at the same time you can become a merchant and hire some affiliate by making your own product . There is one product that you can make very easily and that is an e-book but this is a different story.

By now you should have realized what an internet marketer is suppose to do . Your job will be simple theoretically speaking you will have to make a potential buyer visit the producers web page and maybe if you are lucky he will buy something and you will have one of your many sales to come.

So do not hesitate in trying this wonderful job because you will regret it. This is a very nice job which will reword you in many ways and you should now that this is probably the future of marketing.
