While you might have all of your ducks in a row for your network marketing venture the reality is that it still takes a bit of time to get the ball rolling. After all, you do have to get some targeted prospects and that takes is down time, especially when you are relying on such things as blogs and other marketing tools to drive your traffic. So the big question is what are you going to live on in the while your list is growing? You have a mortgage, maybe a dependent or two, and a couple of car notes to boot.

You could try a number of different things since your main objective here is to make enough money to hold you over until while your network marketing project launches. At first it may not make much sense but sell what you are capable of doing. In other words if you have a special niche for anything, sell it, believe it or not people will pay for your professional expertise. This is referred to as attraction marketing. The new breed of freelancing and project-oriented sites let companies needing help describe their projects. Then freelancers and small businesses offer bids or ideas or proposals from which those buyers can choose. There are plenty of reputable companies out there that cover just about any field that you feel comfortable with. Are you knowledgeable in software, programming, writing, consulting, or design? What makes this even easier is that once you sign up and post your profile people will come to you asking you to complete a job for them. Once this starts to happen, people will view you as the expert and want to join you in business.

Sell photos on stock photography sites. Maybe you have a knack for taking good pictures then maybe you are destined for photographic greatness or maybe just for a few extra dollars. It is easier than ever to get your photos out in front of the public. It might be a convenient way for you to build up a secondary income stream. There are numerous places that would be interested in any pictures that you might have, Fotolia, Dreamstime, Shutterstock, and Big Stock Photo are a few but remember competition is tight.

Provide service and support for open source software. Just because the software is free does not mean you cannot make money on it. What about online life coaching? The new generation of web workers needs to be met by their coaches in the same way that they work: via email, IM, and VoIP. They are too busy to meet a personal coach at an office. With life coaching reputation is more important than credentials. Virtually assist other web workers, freelancers and small businesses desperately need help running their businesses, but they are not about to hire a secretary to come sit in the family room and answer phone calls. You might do anything from making travel reservations to handling expense reimbursements to paying bills to arranging for a dog sitter. And you do it all from your own home office, interacting with your clients online and by phone. You can make $20 and up an hour doing this sort of work, depending on your expertise.

Before making a selection of how to plan to make this money you must keep in mind that this is only tide you over money. You have to allow yourself time to work on your main project which is generating traffic to your prize project. Blogging takes up some time and you have to display some consistency in your forums. So pick whichever job that you can do that will allow you to supplement your income while you get ready for the real rewards.
