Affiliate Marketing 101 - Converting Your Prospects

Going from squeeze page to sale can be a difficult part of affiliate marketing. There's a massive difference between free information and information that costs even $1, and making your prospective customers convert from passively reading to pulling out their credit cards can be a difficult jump. There are really three things to check off your list before you should try to sell to your customers. First, you need to build the trust and immersion in your ideas that cause people to buy. Secondly, you need to introduce a deal so valuable and worthwhile that your prospective customers become interested. Finally, using a combination of psychological selling and informative copy, you should hook your customers into a purchase. These three steps are explained in greater detail below.

Building Trust:

This is the fundamental and primary goal of any marketing campaign. With so many competitors out there, truly innovative and powerful marketers need to build trust to ensure that their prospective customers keep coming back to them, and not falling to the competition. Building trust starts with creating value for your customers, which can take the form of free information or sample products, an informative guide, or merely brief video or text content explaining how you can help them. Without being able to offer anything for them, you can't expect your prospective customers to convert immediately.

This is where so many wannabe affiliate marketers make mistakes. Instead of building trust and creating the environment that results in sales, they sell their products short and introduce a sale from the get-go. While this may result in one-off sales and some low conversion rates, it immediately puts the buyer on the defensive, and destroys any potential trust that could have lead to greater sales. It's ultimately your decision, but the smart money (and massive payoffs) rest with building trust and introducing sales later on in the process.

This means that the most lucrative and profitable campaigns are almost never those that focus exclusively on direct ad - sale advertising. While Google AdWords might bring in a sale now and then, it's never building relationships with your customers, never creating a permission asset, and ultimately never creating the trust that's so essential for a profitable business. Focus on trust first and foremost, and then worry about monetisation and sales targets once you've built the trusting customer.

From here, it's a matter of introducing offers that interest and entrance your prospective customers. Simply mentioning your product isn't enough -- it's about building the benefits that the product can create for your customers, and highlighting why they're so important. Paying your affiliates their commission is certainly an important part of setting up your affiliate program. Now there are no hard and fast rules for an appropriate commission to pay your affiliates but there are a number of things to take into consideration:

Your costs: How much will it cost you to produce your product. Of course this will depend greatly on whether or not your product is a physical or a digital (information) product. Information products are great to sell because beyond the initial setup costs, the expenses to produce them are completely free!

Your industry: For example, if you are in the internet marketing industry then you will have to work hard to get some of the heavy hitter affiliates because they have so many options to choose from. If you are in an industry such as quilting or something that doesn't have many competing affiliate programs you may be able to offer a lower commission and still have affiliates willing to promote it.

How to Pay: Working on the internet, many affiliates will prefer to be paid by paypal rather than check. If you are going to be paying by check you'll want to make sure you do offer a paypal option for those who don't want checks.

Here is an example of some typical commission rates for different types of affiliate programs. These are just examples and you need to work your own numbers to decide on your own rate:

Information Products: Typically info products owners offer their affiliates a 50% commission. Of course this can vary and it's not uncommon to see commissions of 30-50%.

Physical Products: A common rate for physical products is anywhere from 4-30%. Again, you need to consider your expenses.

Event: Some people offer commissions on an event such as a seminar or conference and this can really vary depending on the conference cost and also the expenses incurred by the organizer.

Service: It is not all that common to see an affiliate program for a service, but I've set my own program at 10% commission and have seen this in others too.

Pay Per Lead: Often, people will host a pay per lead program where you get paid anytime someone fills out their name and email to get a free report. This is typically anywhere from $0.25 - $1.00 per lead.

Don't get stuck on deciding on a commission, make an informed decision and then go with it. If you are completely unsure then start with one on the lower side and then work your way up as you are more comfortable if you need to.

Then you want to make sure your market already has a demand for your product. You want to make sure there is competition, but not so much that you can not get ranked for it or make any money.

Keep in mind, if you don't have an audience for your product or service, you are wasting time. Do your research and it will bring you more success than you could of ever imagined.

Affiliate Marketing Tips - Does the Affiliate Network Matter?

Does the affiliate network you sign up with REALLY matter? Well, the honest answer is, yes and no. If that sounds a bit like a copout, let me explain. See, it's not all about the network. Yes, that's one variable, but it's not the only one. As a matter of fact, it's not even the most important one. In this article, I'm going to explain what the factors are that really determine the success that you'll have. The actual network you sign up with is very close to the bottom of the list.

Let's start out with why the affiliate network IS important. Each one IS different. For example, they all have different payment schedule policies and how you get paid. For example, Clickbank pays you directly. Now, you can even get paid direct deposit every week, which is great. I know if no other network that does that. Of course to qualify for payment through Clickbank is a lot harder than other networks. You need 5 sales and at least 2 major credit cards. PayPal payments don't count.

On the other hand, a network like PayDotCom doesn't have such a restriction. You can make just one sale and qualify for payment. The problem with PayDotCom though is that they don't pay you directly. You get paid by the merchant of the product. And that's where you can sometimes run into problems. See, the sad truth is, some merchants don't pay, or don't pay on time or not without a lot of badgering from you. Plus, payments are not made until after the refund period is over. So you're waiting a very long time for your money.

I personally use Clickbank and PayDotCom, but I only use the latter through merchants I know and trust.

What really matters more than this is the market you target and the product you choose. If you pick a poor product that doesn't sell well, it doesn't matter what affiliate network you choose, you won't make any sales.

So, while affiliate networks do affect things somewhat, they are nowhere near as important as choosing a product that sells because the market has a burning need for a real solution to its problem.

I coach many affiliate marketing beginners, and all of them have the same problem. And what is really amazing is that there is no exception to this. They are all facing the same challenges and frustrations. They are stuck at the first step: keyword research.

I understand that it can be difficult because I went through this painful step myself when I was starting out: how to find the right keywords for my website. I decided to write a quick and easy keyword research tutorial for affiliates in five easy steps.

Step 1. Extract keywords from the merchant website

In the Google External tool, you will paste your affiliate site URL in the box. It's important that you check the website button. You are not going to add a keyword to get other related keywords.

Step 2: Spot the profitable keywords

You have many options to earn more money with affiliate marketing. Let me show you what I do whenever I want to make more money in my affiliate business.

Sometimes, you need some cash flow, and the Internet made it easy.

So what I did to earn more money?

First, I just did it this week. I just earned more than $1500 dollars in less than 6 days.

1. A Step By Step Plan

The first thing I did was to write everything I needed to do on a piece of paper. I wrote down a plan. This took me five minutes and helped me to stay on track from the time I started this project to the end.

2. Serious

This is really important. There is no point to write your plan if you don't follow it. You need to know how to manage your time and avoid being distracted.

Working at home can become crazy sometimes. Your wife, your chidren, your friends, your parents. You need to give to everyone his time. But do not forget that you need to work on your business as well.

3. High converting product

If you read so far, this is when it becomes interesting.

I choose a product with a killer salespage. This helped for conversions. In fact, the product was my coach latest creation: the affiloblueprint.

Plus it was a high priced product. It was selling for more than $230, and my commission was about $138. So as you can see, this added up quickly.

Every affiliate marketer needs to look for and use the most effective and the least expensive methods to generate traffic to his or her affiliate website. The concept of affiliate marketing is really profound when you take a close look. Someone offers a product or products for sale. The most cost effective advertising for a merchant is to seek affiliates to offer his or her products on their website. The affiliates earn money when a prospective customer visits his affiliate website and makes a purchase.

This is truly a unique opportunity for the average individual to create a successful business, selling other merchants' products. There is no stock to maintain, no overhead (except for the cost of a website.) An smart affiliate can make a good living simply advertising the products of merchants who offer an affiliate program. Genius!

There is one major catch to this whole thing. An affiliate has to be able to generate traffic (a steady flow of interested customers) to his affiliate offerings. Unfortunately, statistics say that 97% of affiliate marketers earn little to no money. The reason is a simple one, when you take a close objective look at what the majority of affiliate programs offer their affiliates as far as training goes. Most affiliate programs offer several overused email or ezine ads or give advice that is old and not affective in today's Internet. The secret is to forget about just selling a product. There are thousands of others who are trying to sell the same product or service.

To become truly successful is going to take time and effort and a willingness to listen to wise counsel (those who have been there and done that.) There are ways to 'build' yourself a good business (the operative word is 'build') and 'create' a sustaining income.

The successful Internet Affiliate Marketer builds trust in his opinion. This takes time but the rewards speak for themselves. No matter what 'they' say, the product doesn't sell itself. If this were true then the thousands of people selling the same product would all be rolling in money. Think of it this way. If a total stranger tells you that the product he is offering you is the very best and you need to buy it from him within the next few minutes, would you believe him? If a trusted 'expert' that you have been following because they give you loads of information and have built a relationship with you offers you a product he indorses and tells you that you really need to get it, would you?

How do you build trust? Well, you need to purchase a really expensive website, pay a ton of money to have it hosted and spend a gazillion dollars advertising. NOT! The best advice I can give is:

1.) to pick a 'niche' (some area of interest that you really like),

2.) learn what you can, research it

3.) read as many articles about it that you can find

4.) begin to write about it, write articles (go to article directories and learn their article writing guidelines)

5.) Submit your articles to as many directories as possible.

6.) Sign up with one of the 'blog' communities (Blogger, Bogspot, WordPress, etc) and post the same articles that you submit to the directories in your own blog.

7.) Write, write , read, write, post, post, post, etc.

8.) Join Social Networks (facebook, twitter, etc.)

So far none of the above has cost you a penny (only your time). I'll let you in on a little secret about blog. The Search Engines love 'em. They are indexed quickly and revisited every time you post. When you make a post, the blog software sends a 'ping' (notice) to the SE spiders that diner is on the table.

In the first part of this series we talked about getting started with Affiliate marketing. In every start up business we need to consider both effectiveness and expense. Let's begin where we left off.

Article writing is a great way, although not the quickest way, to get your name associated with the 'niche' that you have chosen. If you spend 15 minutes reading articles about your 'niche' and 15 minutes per day writing an article about your subject, in 6 days you can submit 6 articles. That will soon add up to 24 articles per month and 288 articles in one year. You can increase this as you get more comfortable and knowledgeable about your 'niche.'

You've created a nice blog and populated it with articles about your 'niche.' Good start! Blogs are great because of the freedom that you have to write your opinion. Be aware though that the objective is to get people reading what you write. Give information, information, information. Do not fill your blog with 'ad copy' for posts. Build trust first by giving useful information. The more that you give, the more your posts and articles will be accepted and even anticipated.

We mentioned the Search Engine spiders in Part one of this series. These are the clever little software programs that rush out onto the 'net' and look for 'content.' Content is the information that you post on your blog and in your articles. This is spider food.

Now another little secret. You started a blog on WordPress.org. It looks good and you've posted several articles. You're off and running. Why not go to another Blog Community (Blogger, etc) and start another blog and simply spend a few minutes each day posting the articles (maybe with a little modification) that you have posted on your first blog and submitted to the Article Databases. Remember that our objective is not to simply sell a product but to sell your name as a trusted source of information. You are moving closer to the 3% winners circle.

After you have a little blogging time under your bely, now is the time to go out and search for Blog Directories where you can submit your blog(s) for listing in their directory. This also gives added exposure to your blog.

While we are on the subject of blogging, let's look at another aspect of blogging that will also get us noticed. Commenting. As you search through the blog directories and Search Engines to find information to fuel you article writing and blog posting, leave positive comments on the blogs that you encounter in the same or similar 'niches.' Most blog owners want you to comment. It adds substance to their blog. Again, most blog owners do not mind your leaving an URL to your blog as long as it is NOT an overt attempt to 'spam' their blog with ad copy. They like for you to actually read their posts and make relevant comments. This also gives you an opportunity to have a one-way link back to your blog (another tasty tidbit for the SE spiders.)

After doing this, you should consider starting an enewsletter and letting people sign up for your newsletter on your blog. As your traffic increases, your readership increases. Visitors (potential customers) begin anticipating the 'information' that you give them. I would suggest that you use a verified opt in service for distributing your enewsletter. Get permission to send them your information.

eNewsletters are great and you can even sell advertising space after you have built a good list. We'll begin discussing eNewsletters in another article. The important things to remember here are:

You are on your way to building a good, substantial business. These are foundational steps. Every good business must be built on a sturdy foundation.

We have discussed in previous articles the value in writing articles. This is an important first step. This gives you practice in researching information about 'particular' subjects, those that are relevant to your 'niche.' Article writing also gives you material that you can use for your other projects, enewsletters, blog posts, website content, eBooks,etc.

There is loads of information and instructions and software on the Internet at your disposal that will facilitate your creation of enewsletters and eBooks and websites. This only takes a little research and comparison on your part to decide which software or service suits your taste and budget. There are some costs involved (there is no free lunch) in these services. There are also some extraordinary benefits. You're objective with all of this is first to build a 'trusted name' and to build a substantial list of potential customers. With things as they are on the Internet, mainly the surge in 'Spam' that fills your email in box, it is extremely important, virtually crucial, that you use an opt-in system for your subscriptions. This gives you more credibility as a 'trusted' voice.

Enewsletters are great because you have people who want to hear what you have to say. Remember to give information, not just advertisements. This is also true with creating eBooks.

You have, up to this point, done a great deal of research and writing about your chosen subject(s). You have amassed information and written about something that is of interest to you and to your 'audience' of readers. Why not take that information, arrange it into one cohesive body of work, and create an eBook. eBooks are, according to the Wikipedia:

"An e-book (for electronic book: also ebook) is the digital media equivalent of a conventional printed book. Such documents are usually read on personal computers, or on dedicated hardware devices known as e-book readers or e-book devices. Many cell phones can also be used to read ebooks.

We can see from this information that one of the greatest 'viral' marketing campaigns can be attributed to eBooks. You have a choice here. You can either create an eBook as a product to sell or you can create an eBook with great information and links to your affiliate offers and give them away. You would be amazed at how quickly eBooks that offer good information at no cost can be distributed and redistributed to thousands of hungry information seekers.

Giving an eBook filled with useful information as a reward for an action on the part of your reader is a great incentive for them to look for more information from you. Each resource of information that you give build trust and your list of readers.

Social Networking offers you a sure fire way for develop a following that otherwise would take years. There are numerous website communities that will help you become a 'recognized' authority on your chosen subject. Some of these are Facebook, Twitter, Plaxo, Delicious, Squidoo, etc.

Social Networking service is defined by Wikipedia as: A social network service focuses on building on-line communities of people who share interests and

activities, or who are interested in exploring the interests and activities of others. Most social network services are web based and provide a variety of ways for users to interact, such as e-mail and instant messaging services.

Residual income can be generated from links and affiliate offers that you have placed on the web site, as long as they are not removed by the new owner. So, in essence, the content you write should be written with the idea of keeping some form of residual income in it for future gains. But, more than likely the new owner will eventually get around either modifying the affiliate id and for sure, they will want to change all the AdSense publisher ids to their own. But, that doesn't mean there are not other ways that you can generate income in a residual manner from your web site by including it in e-books, reports, and other products that you sell to your new buyer.

When you sell the website, you can tell the new buyer what their rights are to the content that exists on the site. If you are giving them full rights to the content, they can change anything they want. However, you may just give them resell rights or master resell rights. In this case, they won't be be able to modify the links and affiliate offers embedded in some of your products, but they can resell them. That's really optimal for you although it may deter some experienced web site buyers from bidding as they will want full rights to the content, most likely. Sometimes, if you included content that was MRR to begin with, then you can't modify it and neither can the buyer. They will need to be made aware of what content has what licenses, which is typically done at the beginning of any e-book or report. Articles and blog posts, in general, are assumed to be full right when passed to the new buyer, so you will see many modifications in this area to include the new buyers affiliate offers or AdSense information.

(The real answer is all of them, but when you're just starting, it's usually best to pick a pony until you decide if this is something you can do for a living.)

The Big Sites

There are a few websites that make selling online products easier. ClickBank, Commission Junction, even Squidoo has easy options for marketing. But only a few - usually the best - can tell you upfront which products have good stats when it comes to actually getting sales from the people who click your link. ClickBank, for example, doesn't have an outright statement of "conversions" (people who actually buy after they click through your link), but they have other attributes, like popularity, that can give you insight into the products that the populace seems to prefer most.

It's not even really a secret - but people are more than willing to use your curiosity to part you and your money, so they'll try to make the process sound mysterious and sell you the information that you can easily get for free if you look hard enough.

The basic process is this: find a way to get people to click on a link that you wrote, and then, once they get to the page they clicked-through to, buy the product that's being sold on the other end. That breaks down into five steps: setting up your ClickBank affiliate account, choosing a product to write links to, writing the link, getting people to look at the link, and getting people to click on the link.

Setting up your ClickBank affiliate account isn't difficult - the folks at ClickBank make it pretty easy. Just go to ClickBank.com and sign up. They provide instructions. Once you're set up, click on "Marketplace", and check out all of the products you could be selling. Pick one that you think people will need, and run with it.

Writing your link is the part people get lost on. There are a few easy ways to do it: usfreeads.com and GoArticles.com. They are easy, but they aren't great. The great ways to write your links require more work, but the improved traffic is obvious. The great ways are to start a blog at Wordpress or to start a Squidoo lens and write articles for them. Of course, online consumers aren't stupid, and they'll expect a blog or a lens to be well-written. The 'easy' sites don't have to be as well-written, but really, your link is less likely to be clicked on if it's in an ad or a crappy article. So dedicate yourself to writing well right off the bat.

Getting people to look at your link is a two-part process: first, you have to center your article around a phrase that's highly relevant to your target audience. For example, this article has the phrase "ClickBank Affiliate" a dozen or so times, because I want people who are searching "ClickBank Affiliate" to see this. Putting your subject phrase throughout your article makes search engines more likely to put your article close to the top. Second, you have to make your link something that naturally flows out of your article. If it looks out-of-place or hype-y, it won't get any attention.

Getting people to click on your link is as easy as provoking interest in it. You can do that by making it mysterious (Think you know everything about X?) or vital (This information could save you thousands of dollars!) or to-the-point (To learn more about Y, click here.) There are a thousand ways to get people's dander up, and that's the goal.

Once someone has clicked on the link, they'll be taken to the sales page for whatever product you're promoting, and if they choose to buy the product, then you've just made yourself some money! Of course, only 1-10% of people who click through to a sales page actually buy from it, so you're not going to make massive bank off of one article. The good thing is that, once an article is in place, it's going to stick around, driving traffic to the sales page, for a long, long time. That gives you time to go write more articles! After you've got a few hundred articles written (might take a year or more if you're not focused about it), you should start regularly pulling in some passable side income.

Are there shortcuts? Kind of. Every method requires time, money, or both. There is lots of software out there that can help you out with plans, tools, and templates if you're serious about trying to make some money as a ClickBank affiliate. It all requires some investment, but the best are really worth it. Of all the affiliate networks, ClickBank might be my favorite. It's certainly one of the most popular. ClickBank offers mainly digital products, which are great for affiliate marketers to sell because your customer can immediately download their purchase. And we all know how well instant gratification sells! Also, if you're new to affiliate marketing, ClickBank is easy to join. You don't have to have a website. You don't have to be grilled by your affiliate manager to be. All you have to do is fill out the online form, and you're in!

Although easy to join, don't think that ClickBank is in any way bush league. There are affiliates making thousands upon thousands of dollars per week just with ClickBank products. The only issue, however, is how to pick the right product and sell it.

You can sell ClickBank products through a website, or sometimes even with direct linking to the merchant. Direct linking should be used for testing purposes, only. So, once you determine that you want to invest some time and money in a niche, you'll need to build a simple website. If you've never done this before, you can do this easily with a free HTML editor like NVU (now Komposer), and some rudimentary knowledge of HTML.

One thing that works well for newbies and ClickBank is review sites. Blogs are great to use for this. You're giving your visitors information they need, and if they like what you have to say, they'll be likely to take your recommendation and buy your affiliate product.

Mastering ClickBank is mainly a matter of trying and testing. If there's one thing people do wrong it's not trying enough stuff fast enough. A lot of newbies, and even more experienced internet marketers, get into maybe one new offering a month. You need to be trying a new product three days or so.

Not everyone can sell every ClickBank product equally well. Which means, that your method should be to try a lot of stuff, then see which products make you some money. Throw out the non-performers and concentrate on the ones that look like they've got legs.

Although I do a lot with article marketing, I'll usually try out a ClickBank product using pay per click. I can spend $50 or so, get 100 to 200 clicks to my merchant's page and determine if I'm going to continue with that product or not. If the product is a go, then I'll build out the website and hire a writer to start cranking out articles for me. And, of course, I'll start marketing the page using other methods of promotion.

Being in the industry that I am in, I get asked a lot of questions about making money or marketing online. While I'm always eager to help the people on my team the question that never ceases to amaze me is, which are better, USA or UK money programs? Let me answer that with a question. What makes you think they are any different? The beautiful thing about the internet is that instead of the population of the net being separated by boundaries; it's all one continent, so to speak. So making money, be it in pounds or dollars, is all cash in your pocket.

There are many ways to make money on the internet and all the same rules apply no matter what currency you're playing with. How you start though will depend on how much money you have at your disposal. Having little to no money doesn't necessarily mean you can't create big riches online though, it just takes a little more creativity and effort.

If you've got limited funds then the best place to start investing is in affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is when you, as the affiliate, market and sell other peoples products. In return you take sometimes up to 75% of the profit. Not bad for a product you didn't even have to put together.

The best place to start your affiliate marketing, which is where I started, is in the eBook industry. People, now more than ever, are paying a lot of money for instant downloads of information products. Unlike going to a book store and buying a 15 dollar book, people are paying up to 70 dollars for the same amount of information online. Imagine if you sold a 70 dollar eBook, that's over a 52 dollar profit for you. Now imagine you did that just 10 times a month. That's an extra 520 dollars in your pocket, all with no cash investment and without the headache of creating the book. With affiliate marketing though, you need to find a niche market where people want to buy the information but there aren't a lot of competitor affiliates. Keep in mind, what's a hot topic in the USA may not be a hot topic in the UK and vice versa so do your research before you pick your niches.

As you start making money online, or if you already have an "I want to quit my job" fund, the real riches to be made on the internet come at a price, but a small price in comparison to the pay off. AdWords, for example, can cost you anywhere from a couple cents per click up to ten dollars per click, but if you pay 10 dollars for a click that results in a 1,000 dollar sale wouldn't you say that's worth it?

Another route you can take is joining a program that already has a blueprint of what you need to do to make money on the internet. Beware though; there are a lot of scams out there. Before joining a program, make sure you do your research. Ask around, read forums or blogs. Be as informed as possible about the program, or company, you are joining. One of my largest income streams on the internet comes from being part of one of these programs, but I literally researched all the programs for about two months before I finally decided on one, and it paid off. (Hint, check YouTube. People post video reviews on everything and anything. Just take it with a grain of salt. Did they fail because the system was flawed or did they fail because they didn't do anything and expected the money to find them?)

So, in conclusion, it doesn't matter if you're doing American money programs or UK money programs. There's money to be made everywhere. Heck, if you can type in Japanese, good for you, you're market just got even bigger! The point I'm trying to make is that you shouldn't be thinking about what country you should be marketing in, you should be thinking about where you need to start. If you have to start small, like affiliate marketing, to save enough money to invest in bigger online marketing endeavors then do it. The same rule of thumb applies to making money on the internet as in the stock market. The more you invest, the bigger the payoff potential!

Online Income 101 - Project Payday, Clickbank and GDI

I own a business and it has suffered greatly due to this economic environment. As a result, I decided to try and find ways to earn some extra money while sitting in my shop. I stumbled upon Project Payday and Clickbank. I found Clickbank first and was very excited to get going! I looked at the products and services offered on Clickbank and chose a couple. For those of you who don't know how Clickbank works, you basically try and sell the products on the site and you get paid a commission for any sales you make. So, you create an affiliate link and you go into chat rooms and paste it under appropriate conversations. I also created a Google Adwords account (online advertising) along with a blog. I spent hours doing this for a solid week or two and I received zero sales. Perhaps you have to just keep going and eventually it will happen. However, I needed a little encouragement to know that there is a possibility it may work out...just one sale would have sufficed.

The other major problem I found with Clickbank is that you promote products you have never tested. I mean, you could buy the products, test them and then review them, but what if you still don't receive sales after all your hard work? Now it cost you time and money. Many of the reviews are made up because people are just trying to make sales. This is one site that does not allow you to make false claims and "pitch" products which is why I love this site! I personally think the market is over saturated and we if you're reading this, chances are you're just learning about Clickbank too, so we may have missed the boat with this one.

The other major player for online income is Project Payday. Again, I signed up, was excited and found a nice woman to help me with the process. Basically you find offers on a site called Freelunchroom.com and you purchase these offers for lower amounts like $1.00 or $2.95 etc...After you successfully purchase these offers your sponsor pays you a fee of $10.00, $20.00 or more. I had a very difficult time purchasing these offers because I have a business credit card and it wouldn't go through for some reason. So, I had to try over and over again. I must have entered my credit card information 20 times! Two days later I had two different charges on my account for $29.95. Luckily I tracked down the companies and they were able to reverse the charges. Needless to say, I'm not going to move forward with this company either.

Most recently I found another company called Global Domain International. Now, this is one is different because it doesn't cost you much at all, ($10.00) and you see results right away. I signed up 4 days ago and I already have 5 new members under me. I went through the 2 step process from the emails I received after signing up and wha la, I had results. I'm very confident in this program. It is a multi level marketing, but you don't have to try and get all your friends and family to join. As a matter of fact, when I first joined, I sent invitations to my family and friends and none of them joined. I found all my members from yahoo advertising and I found an offer with yahoo for $100.00 of free advertising. When ever I have a question, I email someone from my upline and I get answers. Everyone is optimistic and helpful. So far so good!

So you need to find what is called your target audience. A target audience will be a specific group of people who need or want what you are selling. These are red hot buyers.

For marketing you product I suggest starting off by doing a little article marketing. This method is also known as the bum marketing method, and has been around for years and is proven to work time after time. You should write reviews of the product, and other articles that just talk in general about what the product is and how it might help someone.

With article marketing you should make it a goal of yours to write 3 to 5 articles per week, and submit them to the top article directories. Make sure that when you do submit your articles for your ClickBank product you leave a link back to your website you are using to promote your product.

Finally our last proven method of free online marketing for your click bank product is social networking sites. Social network sites are where people go to meet and make friends, but they are also used to sell things online, and it's a proven method that works.

Create a simple MySpace and/or FaceBook account. Once you have your account make your profile page talk about how you work online, and what you've done in the past. As you do this leave links back to your websites, and maybe even recommend a product to people. The most important thing though is you do not want to turn your profile into a sales page. Just give them enough information so they click the links on your page.

This method works extremely well. One of the main keys to making it work though is building up friends. The more friends you have the more people will see your profile page, which leads to more clicks. Also you will be able to post bulletins to more people.
